Choose the cheapest route for your data Satcom Gadgets Least Cost Routing solution looks at where data needs to go, works out which is the cheapest way to get it there, and then sends it via that path. |

Satellite bandwidth, while cost effective given available coverage, is not the cheapest of all available means of communications. If 3G coverage exists at a particular location, it can be more cost effective to use this medium for transfer of data and fall back to satellite links when 3G is no longer available. However, manually monitoring this access and switching circuits would be time consuming and tedious for any end user. To avoid such issues, TC’s Least Cost Routing solution can be provided as part of an integrated satellite and 3G communications solution, allowing automatic switching to the most economical communications path based on circuit availability. Why adding a 3G service to your FleetBroadband install can save you money.
